Great tutorial ! However, just wanna know why does it take so long to return back to MainActivity? Is there a quicker way to return back to previous Activity. Tried releasePlayer() but it still take at least 30 seconds before returning.

found a solution, but it takes 2-3 seconds to show the suggestions,can we do it with RETROFIT

In reply to Ahmed A.Moula. Broadcast Receiver is unregistered in the onStop() method . Because it is guaranteed that whenever you navigate back and forth onStop method is called, so to unregister of receiver can only be happen on onStop() method.
