is it possible to use “Floating Label EditText” in Dialog class xml layout ?

Hi, is there anyway to set the color of the Floating Label when it is done floating?

For example, I’d like to have the label be the following colors:

a) before floating, have the color silver (right now I have the color silver set);
b) when floating, have the color blue (right now I have the color blue set); and
c:) when done floating, have the color blue (right now the color defaults to the silver color used before the label floats).
